Auspost Collection Point

Interested in one of our latest shipping options? Have your order received safe and securely with a collection point πŸ€—

Updated this week

Seen our latest addition to the checkout for an Auspost Collection Point and wondering how it works? This article is for you πŸ‘€

First, it is important to note that if you already have a PO Box or Parcel Locker registered with Auspost directly, please refer to our other article in the Help Centre on how to use this type of address in the checkout - here.

This option is for customers that would like to utilise a safe & secure collection at their local post office or parcel locker collection centre of their choice if they do not have one of the above already registered with Auspost directly. Plus, when selecting a parcel locker location you may have the option to collect your parcel outside of regular business hours πŸ™Œ

So what is it and how does it work?

In the checkout just select the Auspost Collection point option as seen below and proceed to fill out the sections as normal. For the last field type in your postcode or suburb and make a selection from the drop down menu.

From here you will then be presented the available options within radius of the suburb you selected. Just click on the option that best suits you and click on the green tab under that says Continue to Delivery Method!

Once your selection has been made customers can view the business hours by clicking on the drop down menu just below the address details so you can make sure this option works for you. If you'd like to go back and edit your selection, too easy. Just click on the Edit function as seen in the screenshot below.

If a customer chooses a post office for collection, you'll receive tracking notifications like normal from us and be notified when your order is ready to collect. If your parcel ends up at a post office for collection you'll have 10 business days to collect it from this location.

If a customer selects a parcel locker for collection, you'll receive tracking notifications like normal from us and be notified when your order is ready to collect. Generally a parcel can only stay at this location for 48hrs and in the event it has not been collected it may be transferred to the closest post office for collection in the next 10 business days.

Please note on some rare occasions when a locker address is selected it may be taken to a post office directly, bypassing the locker as selected. This may occur if the locker address selected is quite busy, especially across national holidays such as Christmas, and there is no available lockers due to high demand.
