Western Australia (WA) Delivery Delays/Disruptions - Australia Post

Extreme weather conditions and flooding have caused significant disruption and unavailability of rail lines to and from WA. As a result, Australia Post has enacted a 'Force Majeure' clause and deployed a 'WA Emergency Service' to keep deliveries running. Due to the nature of this emergency service, delivery costs to and from WA will temporarily increase.

Currently, estimates put standard delivery times to and from WA at 1 additional week to normal times.

How Does this Impact Christmas Deliveries?

The greatest impact is to deliveries to and from WA by Parcel Post (eParcel) and Star Track Express from NSW - where healthylife is located.

To have the best chance of delivery before Christmas via Standard Service, we suggest you place your order by 8th December 2022. Orders placed after this time may not arrive before Christmas.

We strongly recommend that you opt in for Express Delivery for all orders travelling to WA to mitigate these temporary delays.

What Is a 'Force Majeure'?

A 'force majeure' is an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond reasonable control. In this instance, extreme weather conditions and flooding have created significant disruption and unavailability of rail lines, resulting in the 'force majeure' clause being enacted.

When Will the Force Majeure Be Resolved?

The impact of the force majeure is expected to continue for the remainder of 2022, with normal operations estimated to resume in January 2023.
